SUM V – Presentation of Action Plan 2024

The Barcelona Music Tech Hub (BMTH) presented during the fifth Stand-Up Meeting (SUM V) its proposed Action Plan for 2024. As a result of the exponential growth of associates during 2023, and the wide variety of verticals represented, the association will focus internal actions around the strengthening of value connections between members, giving prominence to the SUMs as a reference meeting point. In terms of external relations, the association will continue to work on creating links with entities which share the Hub’s vision, and on following up and expanding collaborations already established in previous years, such as participation in Sónar+D.

Also, in line with the priorities of the association, this year we propose to focus on training activities on the musictech sector for different actors of the innovation ecosystem. The target audience for these awareness and visibility actions will be broad, and specific sessions will be designed for essential agents for the growth of the most emerging business projects in our sector, such as investors, representatives of the public administration and the media.

At the end of the presentation, and as usual in these meetings, the Hub team facilitated a networking activity so that the more than 20 partners present in the Pier01 Auditorium could connect with each other, sharing perspectives and creating synergies between their respective projects. We would like to sincerely thank all the attendees for their participation and the Tech Barcelona team for welcoming us, once again, in their magnificent facilities.

If you would like more information about the Hub’s upcoming activities or are interested in joining the association, we encourage you to follow us on LinkedIn or contact the technical secretariat team at hola@barcelonamusictech.com.
