Barcelona Music Tech Hub and Startup Valencia seal a collaboration agreement to jointly promote the sector

Barcelona Music Tech Hub and the Startup Valencia association have signed a collaboration agreement that will allow both entities to work jointly and strategically to develop the entrepreneurial ecosystem in innovation and technology in a key axis of the Mediterranean.

Through the agreement, which has been signed by the presidents of both associations, BMTH and Startup Valencia agree to carry out joint dissemination, training and advisory activities, while creating a direct channel for the exchange of information and generation of synergies between the multiple startups and companies that make up the two entities.

Startup Valencia is a private and non-profit organization that was born in 2017 to represent all the startups in the Valencian Community. Over time, it has established itself as a reference nucleus in the innovative and technological ecosystem of the region and the country as a whole.

In the words of the president of BMTH, Jose Zagazeta, “the collaboration agreement will allow us to continue growing and broadening our range of action and influence beyond the Catalan borders, always having the Barcelona center as a reference”. “Both entities share present and future values, objectives and challenges, so it made all the sense in the world to crystallize our relationship in an agreement of this type”, concluded Zagazeta.

For his part, Nacho Mas, CEO of Startup Valencia, explained that “at Startup Valencia we are constantly looking for opportunities that add value to the association and to the group of startups that make it up, so the collaboration with BMTH responds to this search for opportunities and synergies. The music tech sector has already positioned itself as one of the most thriving and with the most potential in the technology industry, and we are proud to be part of it together with BMTH”.
